seed pods of the Plumeria


This pic shows 5 seed pods that developed last year at the end of summer.  This is what they looked one month ago.  It takes 8 to 9 months for the seed pods to mature.  They look like giant vanilla beans.

    Are they ready to be cut when Brown, separating but don’t appear to be open?

    I’m really excited but need to cut soon. If it’s brown & split will it be ok in a brown paper bag?
